Wrestler Joshua Chetty to compete in Johannesburg

ON December 9, 30-year-old Joshua Jesse Chetty  who uses the stage name Joshua The Bull from Chatsworth in Durban, will compete in a wrestling tournament called All Stars Wrestlers (Wrestle Madness1) at the Danie Van Zyl Sports Centre in Roodepoort.

Chetty, who is a professional wrestler and a part-time actor started bodybuilding at the age of 14 and started off wrestling at the Age of 18.

“I started wrestling at the Chatsworth Youth Centre on November 13, 2010. It was both a happy and a sad day for me because on November 13, 2005, WWE wrestler Eddie Guerrero passed on. It was so sad as I had looked up to him,” Chetty said.

Chetty wrestles for the Largest wrestling federation in Africa, Champions Pro Wrestling, formerly known as World Wrestling Professionals.

He has won numerous championships and awards. He won the Match of the Year in 2012, 2013, and 2014. His greatest achievement was winning the WWP Tag Team Championship in 2016.

The main event, hosted by the African Punishment Wrestling Association will feature Ananzi aka Kobus Eramus versus PJ Black, formerly known as “Justin Gabriel”, a former WWE superstar. Ananzi is ranked number 1 in professional wrestling in South Africa. He was trained by former WWE superstar “Booker T”.
